There were water fountains at both hotels, so great for filling your water bottle for the. And you could always find shade, something important to me. We enjoyed the grounds of Sunshine - after a day at the beach it was lovely to sit in the comfy garden chairs or lounge by the pool. In fact any queries were dealt with so well - loved the approachable, friendly manner they all had.Īt the Westin, this was also fully accessible and they even had a beach wheelchair available at any time my daughter needed it, with someone at hand to take her onto the beach and look after her own wheelchair safely.
Other hotels could learn a lot from visiting here! The staff at reception were so kind and friendly - nothing was too much trouble! They organised the free transport to the Westin without any fuss or bother - just organised it straight away. We were so happy that both the Sunshine Suites Resort and the sister hotel, the Westin, were fully accessible! It is so hard sometimes when travelling with a wheelchair but this holiday was fab! We were given a wheelchair accessible room (102) which had 2 double beds, kitchen area and large walk in shower with 3 big grab retails which doubled up as towel rails! Because things had been thought about carefully, my daughter was able to get about independently which makes such a difference.
